We can assess preferred candidates for fitness for jobs to assist you with hiring decisions
and provide advice about any DDA adjustments likely to be required to enable an
employee to work effectively.
Types of advice that we can offer:
Rapid assessments –either by paper screening, telephone interview or face-face assessments. You will receive the results within hours.
Clear and decisive advice about fitness (mental and physical capability) for the job.
If an employee is not fully fit for the hours and duties required for the post due to illness/disability then advice about modifications which may make the post viable. These are for the company to consider.
Advice about safety issues- either to protect the candidate or others if they have a medical condition or disability which may increase risk of accidents or injury.
Specific fitness medical assessments can be performed if needed for certain jobs e.g. fork lift truck assessments, driving medicals, jobs needing close visual work.
Other new employee services: We can also offer immunisations if required for new employees to protect them from hazards present in certain jobs. E.g. Hepatitis B vaccinations.
Baseline assessments for health surveillance e.g.Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, audiometry, lung function or skin.
